Programs
Our Approach to Programming
IWD targets different categories with tailor-made interventions, with suitable curricular for specific target groups. Our curriculum for young people targets adolescent boys and girls within learning institution as well as their out of school counterparts, with the aim being to arm them with essential life skills, and equip them with valuable knowledge on reproductive health and sexuality for positive attitude and behavior, and social norms transformation that will lead to a better quality of life for them and their peers.
It is aimed at instilling necessary skills that will enable them overcome the myriad of challenges that most young people face when it comes to assertiveness and boundary setting, peer resistance and decision-making.
Our team of highly knowledgeable and experienced facilitators has strong analytical skills and often draws from their personal experiences to enrich learning in a fun-filled and non-threatening manner.
